The UTL-BNC is a passive* 5 channel bi-directional 1/4” - Banana - 1/8” - BNC format jumbler. Use your oscilloscope with every format of modular that uses banana, 1/8” or 1/4" jacks. The UTL-BNC comes in handy when interfacing different modular systems together, or if you’re just looking to view your wave forms on an oscilloscope. If using banana jack based synths…just connect the ground jack (black jack located on the front panel of of the UTL-BNC) to your banana modular systems power supply ground jack when using banana gear and you're ready to go!
*this unit is passive and does not perform
any voltage/level scaling/offsets
Built from the same die cast aluminum enclosures used for boutique effects pedals, the UTL-BNC is built like a tank and can take a beating.
WARNING: Yes, this device will allow you to interface your modular gear with test equipment! BUT!!! Before you go and Hainbach your way to musical greatness w/ test gear, please be aware that some test equipment outputs significant amounts of voltage and current that modular synthesizers are not equipped to handle. Low-Gain Electronics is not liable for any damage you might cause to your equipment by using the UTL-BNC. Do your homework!
