If space is tight and you don't want to sacrifice power performance, the Short Bus Power system is for you!
It's the same power core as the Power Bus XL system, just a smaller foot print. 18 power connections instead of 22.
Features:
Low-Voltage (single rail) operation (+15Vdc @ 3-6A)
0.25" Quick-Connect "Fast-On" DC Input
Modern, low ripple DC:DC based design
18 keyed low profile module power connectors
3 rail operation (+12V, -12V, +5V)
CV/Gate bus expansion support
Recommended Maximum Operation Temp: –40°C to 85°C
Recommended Brick Supply (NOT included): Mean Well GSM90A15-P1M available at common parts venders.
DC input barrel connector should be 2.5mm (NOT 2.1mm)

Power Ratings:
+12V @ 2.5A*
-12V @ 1.5A*
+5V @ 1A*

* Current ratings are based off a recommended safe maximum current load. Each rail is current protected with auto temp shut down features
that, when over heated, will cycle the power rail as a fail safe. Should this happen, shut your system off and address potential case heat issues.
Operating the power supply near maximum load in hot temperatures will effect current performance.

Recommended Brick Supply: Mean Well GSM90A24-P1M available at common parts venders.
DC input barrel connector should be 2.5mm (NOT 2.1mm).

Quick tips when picking power supplies for your modular system:

A good rule when building a modular system is to over compensate for current requirements. If your system draws 2A on the +12V rail, don't get a power supply that's only rated for 2A.
Running a power supply at it's current maximums (Euro Power manufacturers should rate PSU's 20% under the absolute maximum, but commonly don't) can shorten the life span of a power supply. The cooler the supply can run, the longer it will last!

Think of your power supply as the foundation of a house. You wouldn't build a million dollar home on a five thousand dollar foundation, don't cheap out!
If your foundation crumbles, the entire house falls. Moral of the story? Don't cut corners. Buying a power supply system isn't the most fun purchase, but it's
essential to provide a solid foundation for your instrument.

Provided your system isn't built of low HP, high current draw digital modules, I typically recommend 1A for every 104-125HP.

The Short Bus system is a great option for 6U 70HP (per row) based Eurorack lunchbox cases.

Be smart, plan ahead, check module manufacturer current ratings and do the math to see what your system requires.
Current Math: I(total) = I1+I2+I3,etc (Per rail)
+V Total Current (I) = Module 1 +V current + Module 2 +V current + Module 3 +V current , etc etc...
-V Total Current (I) = Module 1 -V current + Module 2 -V current + Module 3 -V current , etc etc...
